The U.S. Paella Championship is a one-of-a-kind culinary celebration bringing together chefs from all over the U.S. to compete. As part of the championship we offer: unlimited wine sampling, live cooking demonstrations, Paella Week, a Flamenco Competition and the Paella Village, featuring vendors with jamón, tapas, cheese, olive oils and, of course, paella—along with Special Hospitality Villas, live music and the freshest seafood from Miami’s coastal culture—all during two spectacular days at Tropical Park.
The festival is divided into two areas the vibrant Miami Seafood Festival on the right side of the venue, and the Paella Village (where you will also find the U.S. Paella Championship) on the left — each offering unique culinary experiences, music, and entertainment.

Want to take a trip for your senses?
The moment you arrive at the festival, tents glow across the lake while music, seafood, garlic, and citrus fill the air. Your ticket is scanned, and you are officially welcomed to the Miami Seafood Festival — an immersive culinary and entertainment experience featuring 12 major attractions, (five at the Seafood Festival and seven at the Paella Village) each designed to take your senses on a journey through flavor, culture, music, and celebration.

Here lobster rolls, ceviche, oysters, shrimp, crab claws, paella, and fish tacos line the walkway while grills sizzle beneath decorative flags waving in the Miami Winter air surrounded by ropes, lanterns, and dockside décor. From the Seafood Market District you transition into the Art District

THE art DISTRICT
The Art District feels just like the name a district for art within the festival. Here you will encounter 13 different art categories from oli, watercolor, wearable art, sculpture to wood, glass, jewelry and more. This is a juried art area you must apply directly thru the festival or via Zapplication.org.

The Coastal Lifestyle Area features outdoor living inspired environment create a relaxed upscale atmosphere near the lake. Check out boats, hot tubs, watercraft, outdoor furniture, kitchens all while taking a breath as now it’s time to leave the Seafood Festival area, with its Seafood Market, Art District, Tippsee Chix Bar, Music and Dance as well as the Coastal Lifestyle District and go to Spain, more specifically it’s time to enter the Paella Village

THE PAELLA VILLAGE
At the Paella Village the experince is deffinetly upscale and all about Spain. Here, you will find products from Spain such as Jamon, Olive Oil, Cheese, Tapas, and more, Wines of Spain & the World, the Chef Demonstration & Sommelier Seminar Pavilion, the U.S. Paella Championship, the Freestyle Paella Championship, the Rising Chef Paella Championship, at El Tablao y Más there is a Flamenco Music & Dance Competition, and Luxury Hospitality Villas for those brands and consumers looking for a more upscale all included experince.

Wines of Spain & the World
Hours are 2–6PM
Wines of Spain & the World Pavilion
With the special $79 ticket, you receive unlimited samples of more than 100 wines and beers. The wines come from Spain and nine other countries, including Italy, France, the U.S., Chile, Argentina, South Africa and beyond. You can also enjoy cava, Champagne and Prosecco. Tasting glasses are provided.

Chef from all over the US and ofcourse local restaurants show you their best tricks
and techniques. Along with seminars from someliers and other interesting speakers

Official U.S. Paella Championship Arena
At the U.S. Paella Championship Arena paella pans heat up over open fire while 15 elite chefs
per competition compete before cheering crowds as saffron, seafood, smoke, roasted meats,
and olive oil fill the air. The winner goes to the World Championships in Sueca, Spain so the
competition is intense. There is also a Freestyle & Rising Chef Competition.
